San Diego — Rising demand for care services, along with limited new construction in high-demand submarkets, continue to make San Diego County a friendly place for owners of medical office buildings
- The local region saw $167 million in medical office property sales transactions during 2015, up 25 percent from 2014 and on par with record volumes posted in 2012 and 2013
- Medical office rents are on the rise in places such as University Towne Center/La Jolla, Hillcrest and coastal North County
- “Health care providers are actively looking for ways to improve accessibility to patients, ensuring continued demand for centrally located health care facilities,” said Chris Ross
