- The industry has a long runway for potential growth, with craft spirits currently comprising 2 percent to 3 percent of all U.S. spirits sales. Craft beer, which is also deemed ripe for more growth, currently accounts for 11 percent of U.S. beer production volume and 19 percent of dollar sales volume, according to the latest data from the Colorado-based Brewers Association.
