In commercial real estate market the number of men are always outnumbered woman in the industry. One of the brokers for Coldwell Banker in Bethel mentioned her stories when she have felt somewhat outnumbered at the typical industry-awards dinner in 1990’s. Until now, more than 20 years later, men are still dramatically exceed in number over women in the field that has traditionally been dominated by their male counterparts. While in the residential market there is 95 percent populated by women. Commercial real estate experts said that it is really unfortunate that there is such a difference in the ratio. We strongly encourage women to apply for the commercial jobs opportunities and there should be no discrimination in the CRE industry.
